The derby against Txuri Urdin is enough.

That dominance has made the club the de facto feeder for the Spanish national team. When a regional competition was finally organised to test that status beyond the border, in 2025, Jaca won the inaugural Liga Ibérica as well. The women's side has its own line on the honours list, a national league title in 2023.

Home games are played at the Palacio de Hielo de Los Pireneos, where the fixed seating runs to 1,900 but the building can hold close to double that when temporary capacity is added — a gap that shows how far crowds swell for the fixtures that matter. Ander Alcaine has been the player most associated with that success, part of a core that has carried the club through its Continental Cup appearances, including spells hosting the opening round.

None of it changes what still decides the season for the people who follow the club closely: whether Jaca has the better of Txuri Urdin when the two meet.
