«Bolka»
Three local sides — a students' XI that took the field in 1902, then a club called Čechie, then a works team backed by the Aston Villa name — grew up separately in Mladá Boleslav. What started as a students' team became TJ Škoda, then TJ Auto Škoda, before the FK Mladá Boleslav name returned in 1990.
The 1990s brought a stretch of borrowed identities rather than settled ones — a spell as a Slavia Prague farm club. He later added the Czech Cup in 2010/11, and the club returned to lift it again in 2015/16 under Josef Weber.
On the pitch, Marek Matejovský built a club record of 287 league appearances, while further forward Mikuláš Komličenko scored 43 league goals and took the 2018/19 scoring title with 29 in a season. Matches against Slovan Liberec, contested as the North Bohemian derby, remain the fixture with the sharpest edge.
Since the summer of 2024 the club has been run by David Trunda, who holds 51% of the shares and serves as president, having taken over from the Livesport ownership group.
