The club traces back to 1922, when it started life as SK Haná Novosady, and it spent the following decades being renamed as often as Czech football's political weather changed: DSK Haná Olomouc after the war, ZK Dehet in 1947, Sokol Haná Olomouc Nové Sady in 1949, TJ MILO Olomouc from the 1960s. The current identity dates only to 2006, when the club merged with SK Královské Nové Sady and took the name FK Nové Sady. Yellow and black have carried through the changes.
The best seasons sit in the Olomouc district competitions: champions of the Přebor Olomoucký kraj in 2014/15, and of the I. A třída, a tier below, in 2012/13, 1995/96 and 1990/91. The first team now plays in the 4.
