Olimpic Zărneşti

Stadionul Celuloza sits in Zărnești, in Brașov county, on the ground that once carried the name of a much older club — Celuloza Zărnești.

What Olimpic built there was its own. The club won the Liga IV county championship three times, in 2018–19, 2020–21 and 2022–23, and in 2022 turned the third of those into something more: a play-off win over Inter Stars Sibiu sent it into Liga III for the first time. It held its own there, finishing second in Series 6 in 2023–24 and reaching a promotion play-off against SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea, though that tie went the other way. The same opponent later ended a Cupa României run in the second round the following season.

The city itself has produced players who went further: Torpedo Zărnești's academy, a separate lineage from Celuloza's, gave early football to Rareș Enceanu, who moved on to play in Liga I for FC Brașov, FCSB and Steaua București.

Olimpic plays in blue and white, in a ground whose seating counts vary depending on who is asked, somewhere between six hundred and fifteen hundred. It remains a small-town fixture, a club still measuring itself against the level it only reached four seasons ago.
