Osasuna II

Tajonar sits outside Pamplona proper, in Aranguren, and it was built as a training ground first. The reserve side plays its home matches on one of those pitches, in front of 4,500 seats. Players come up through the same gates they trained at as teenagers, which is the arrangement the place was designed for.

The team predates the complex by two decades. It was set up in 1962 as Osasuna Promesas — promises — and the name held until 1991, when it became Osasuna B. The old one stuck anyway; supporters still use it.

César Azpilicueta made 27 appearances here in the 2006–07 season before the first team took him. He is the clearest case of what Tajonar exists to do, though Mikel Merino, Jon Moncayola and Álex Berenguer all passed through the same set-up.

The honours read as promotions rather than trophies: three Tercera División titles, the last in 2015–16, and the Segunda Federación in 2021–22. The 2024–25 season ended fourteenth in the Primera Federación.

Local fixtures against CD Tudelano and CD Izarra carry the name Derbi Navarro.
