Paide

Paide reached the 2021/22 final against Nõmme Kalju. The score stood at 0-0 deep into extra time before captain Siim Luts settled it, 1-0.

The club started life in 2004 as a feeder side for Flora, playing under the names Paide FC Flora and Paide FC Flora Linnameeskond before taking its own identity in 2008. In those early years it won three divisions in a row — climbing from the fourth tier to the second — and by 2009 had reached the Meistriliiga, where it has stayed ever since without a single relegation.

The shift from ambitious lower-league side to cup winner traces back to 2017, when Vyacheslav Zahovaiko took over as head coach and pushed the club onto a professional footing. Three years later Paide finished second in the league, and qualified for Europe for the first time. Third-place finishes followed in 2021, 2022 and 2024.

Estonia international Ragnar Klavan spent 2021-2022 at the club. In January 2025, Paide became the first Estonian club to sell a player directly into one of Europe's top five leagues, when Gambian forward Abdulie Sessay moved to Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

Home games are played at the Paide linnastaadion, which holds 400 — among the smallest grounds in Estonia's top flight.
