Racing Santander II

Five Tercera División titles sit against the reserve side's name, and the one from 1998-99 came with a second piece of silverware the same season: the Copa Federación de España.

The side began in 1926 as Gimnástica de Miranda and only came into Racing Santander's orbit in 1951, when it took on the farm-team role while staying its own club, Sociedad Deportiva Rayo Cantabria. The Spanish sports law of 1993 ended it: the independent club was dissolved and folded into the professional structure as Real Racing Club de Santander B, S.A.D. The old name came back in 2019, though the standing did not change — it is the reserve team, currently registered as Racing Santander II.

Paco Gento came through here before the rest of his career happened elsewhere. So did Manolo Preciado and Pedro Munitis.

Home is Campos de Sport de Astillero, also called La Planchada, over in El Astillero rather than in Santander itself, holding somewhere near 3,000. Green and white, the parent club's colours. Gimnástica Torrelavega remains the local fixture that carries most weight.

The most recent Tercera title is from 2004-05.
