Rochester Women

RCTC Stadium sits on the campus of Rochester Community and Technical College, a 5,000-capacity ground the club shares with the school rather than owns outright — a modest venue for a team still in its first years of competition. Rochester Women play there as the female side of Rochester Football Club, the identity under which they show up in USL W League tables against Rockford Raptors, Minnesota Aurora FC, Sioux Falls City, RKC Third Coast and Edgewater Castle in the Heartland Division.

Rochester FC itself was founded in 2018 by Midhat Mujić and Muharem Dedić; the women's team followed later, taking the field in the USL W League only from 2023. That gap between the club's founding and the women's side stepping out means there is, so far, little history to draw on beyond results in the standings — no conference titles, no long-serving names, nothing yet that presses to be told.

The players wear royal blue, and the club goes by Loons in league coverage and local press, a nickname that ties the team to Minnesota without needing explanation for anyone from the state. On a campus ground in Rochester, in a division still sorting out its own pecking order, that is where the team's story currently sits.
