Rumori Calcio

Tallinn has a large foreign population — students, IT workers, people who came for a job and stayed — and in March 2015 five of them sat in the Hiiu pub in the Nõmme district and decided the city needed a football club of its own kind. Two Italians, two Georgians and a Turk put their names to it. The club they registered has since carried more than 30 nationalities on its books, which is the point of it rather than a statistic about it.

The name comes from a blog. Angelo Palmeri, still the club's president and sporting director, ran a site called Rumori — noise, gossip — devoted to dressing-room whispers after Inter's treble under José Mourinho. The club took the title from the blog and kept it.

Home is not the Kalevi Keskstaadion itself but the artificial pitch beside it, with room for 270. Winter training moves indoors, to the Kotka hall. The 2024/25 home shirt was sky blue.

Rumori have never won anything. What they have done is reach the fourth round of the Estonian Cup in both 2016 and 2017 — enough to draw a BBC Sport piece about them in 2022. Promotion has come twice, out of the fourth tier in 2016 and again in 2021, third place doing the job each time. In between, in 2020, they finished 11th in the third tier and went straight back down.

Kristof Puschmann has outlasted most of it. He was the leading scorer in the promotion season of 2016 with 13, went one better the following year with 17, and was still top of the list in 2025 with 12.

The reserve side, Rumori Calcio II, plays in the fourth tier under Jabiele Haddad, once a player at the club.
