Saguntino

Its own stadium, Camp Nou de Morvedre, was in no condition to host anyone, so Acero opened its gates instead.

The rivalry itself runs along older lines than football.

The club's honours came late, and close together. In the 2015/16 season Saguntino won its Tercera División group, then went through to Segunda B for the first time by beating Calahorra on penalties. The following season it beat CF Fuenlabrada in the final of the Copa Federación de España, the first national title in its history.

Neither result belongs to the club that first carried the Saguntino name. On 1 July 1951, a group of supporters started again under the same name, in red shirts and blue shorts, and it is that second club whose history has continued since.
