Se União Cacoalense U20

The Estádio Municipal Aglair Tonelli Nogueira has held as many as 11,000 people for a match against CFA in 2003, well above the 8,000 seats it normally counts.

União Cacoalense has treated the road as part of its story since it was founded on 1 January 1982, and the fox has stayed on as its mascot.

The record season came in back-to-back years, 2003 and 2004, when the club won the Campeonato Rondoniense both times. It has not gone back to the top since, finishing runner-up instead in 2001, 2002 and 2022, and its more recent titles have come a division down, in the Segunda Divisão, won in 2013 and again in 2025. The club also took its one look at national competition in those same years, drawing home and away with Guarani de Campinas in the 2004 Copa do Brasil before going out, then losing to Paysandu the following year.

Money problems have shaped the club as much as any result: relegation to the second tier followed in 2008, and in 2015 União Cacoalense withdrew from the state championship altogether over finances and stadium trouble. Against Ji-Paraná, the fixture known locally as the Super Clássico or Clássico Rondoniense, the club has had little recent joy at the top level for lack of a place to contest it.

What the academy has produced lately — Laerte Jr. and the midfielder Ji-Paraná moving on to Corinthians, Gutinho projected to Internacional after the 2026 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior — has not yet been matched by a run back into Rondônia's top flight.
