Unia Skierniewice

Unia Skierniewice will start the coming season in the II liga, after finishing top of group I of the III liga in 2024/25 on 75 points.

The run began from nothing. The home for that climb has been the Stadion Miejski on ul. Pomologiczna, where 3,000 people fit.

The cup form arrived alongside the league form. Unia have taken the Łódź regional cup four times in recent years, and the 2024 final against Pelikan Łowicz went to extra time before finishing 3-0. Winning it feeds into the national Puchar Polski, and in 2024/25 that entry produced the club's deepest run yet. Motor Lublin, an Ekstraklasa side, drew 1-1 and lost on penalties; the goal that took Unia there came from Agvan Papikyan , an Armenian forward who had earlier been on the books at ŁKS and Rangers. GKS Katowice, also of the top flight, went out 2-1 in the next round.

The Ukrainian forward Vadym Yavorskyi, brought up at Chornomorets Odesa, had been part of the side that went up in 2023/24 and helped set that season in motion.

Against Ruch Chorzów in the last 16, the run came to an end.
