Varde

The women's side reached the Danish Cup final in 2017 and lost it 1:3 to Brøndby IF — in the fourth round of the DBU Pokalen. That fourth round, reached in 2007–08 and again in 2010–11, remains as far as the men have gone; there are no senior titles at all.

What the club has won, it has won with girls' teams. The Danish championship came in 2000 and again in 2001, and the U16 cup followed in 2016 and 2017.

The club itself is younger than either of the sides that made it. Varde Gymnastikforening dated from 1921, Varde Boldklub from 1944, when it was founded as Arbejdernes Boldklub and carried that name until 1954. Merger talks failed in 1969 and failed again in 1974 before the two agreed terms on 1 January 1975. The first kit was orange, chosen so that neither predecessor's colours went forward; white and black came later. There is no nickname, though a lion sits on the badge.

Skjern GF, Bramming B and Helle FC are the local fixtures.
