Zenit-Izhevsk

On 7 July 2023 the club was pulled out of Division B of the Second League after the government of the Udmurt Republic decided to stop funding professional football in the region.

That earlier decision dated to 14 February 2011, when the Presidium of the Udmurt government ordered the club's formation, folding in Soyuz-Gazprom, a team that had existed since 1988, and reorganising the state youth academy SDYuSSHOR Izhevsk into one professional structure. The club took the field in white shirts and blue shorts, with an all-blue kit for away games, and made its home at the Central Republican Stadium "Zenit," which holds between 15,000 and 16,000.

A season later the club led that same zone for part of 2016/17 before Olimpiets overtook it and took the title. In the Russian Cup, a run to the last 32 in 2015/16 stands as the club's best result.

Since the funding cut, the club has played on in amateur football in the Privolzhye league, competing through the 2025 season under the shortened name "Izhevsk." A return to the Second League is planned for 2026.
