Arena Chertanovo

The ground opened in January 2016 as the home pitch for Chertanovo's youth setup, and it has stayed a working training venue rather than a matchday destination in its own right — the first team plays alongside the U20, U19 and U18 sides on the same artificial surface, tucked into the Chertanovo Severnoye district in Moscow's south.

Five hundred seats is not a figure that invites comparison with any senior ground in the capital; some records give 490, others 500, but either way the difference has never mattered in practice. The one occasion the stadium filled to its listed limit came on 23 August 2017, when Chertanovo lost 0-2 to Dynamo St Petersburg in the Russian Cup last 32 — the highest attendance the venue has recorded. Most cup ties here have drawn far less: 150 for a 3-2 extra-time win over Kolomna in June 2016, 350 against Strogino a year later, just 100 when Chertanovo travelled to face Dynamo Vladivostok in 2021.

The arena's other life is as a fixture point for the women's top division — 42 league matches and 6 Cup ties were staged here in the venue's first five years — and for youth football, including the final of the Lev Yashin Cup youth tournament in August 2023. In August the same year, a Russian Cup tie between Chertanovo and Dynamo Kirov was the first in the competition's history to be officiated entirely by a female refereeing team. The ground was reconstructed in 2020, though no record specifies what changed or by how much capacity might grow if the senior side ever reaches the Premier League.
