Formerly: National Soccer Stadium (temporary for FIFA tournaments), Toronto Stadium (temporary for World Cup 2026)
BMO Field opened as the first purpose-built soccer stadium in Canada. It sits on the site of the old Exhibition Stadium, west of downtown Toronto.
The place has been rebuilt more than once rather than left as it opened. A first expansion in 2010 added 1,400 seats, and a heavier reconstruction between 2014 and 2016 pushed capacity to 28,351. The natural grass gave way to a hybrid pitch in 2019.
Big occasions have found their way here more than once. The stadium has staged the MLS Cup final in 2010, 2016 and 2017, and the 104th Grey Cup in 2016.
Toronto FC and Toronto Argonauts both call it home.
