Estádio do SESC Campestre
Porto Alegre, Brazil
Formerly: Campo do SESC Protásio Alves
The pitch belongs to Internacional's women's team, not the men's side that fills Beira-Rio a few kilometres away — a split common enough in Porto Alegre's football geography, less common at a ground this small. Estádio do SESC Campestre, still known locally by its older name, Campo do SESC Protásio Alves, opened on 7 May 1958 in the Alto Petrópolis district, decades before SC Internacional Feminino existed as a competitive side.
At 2,000 capacity, it operates closer to a training centre with stands than a matchday venue in the usual sense. Youth football passes through as often as the senior women's team does: age-group fixtures, including Copa do Brasil Sub-20 matches, share the calendar with Inter Feminino's league games. The natural grass pitch takes that mixed use without much fuss, which is more than can be said for grounds twice its size.
There is no rebuild story to tell here, no record crowd, no near-miss with relegation that reshaped the place. What holds is simpler: a SESC-run sports complex that Internacional's women's set-up adopted as home, keeping a name from 1958 while the club's main identity plays out under a different roof across town.
