Estádio Flamarion Vasconcelos
Boa Vista, Brazil
Formerly: Estádio 13 de Setembro
Estádio Flamarion Vasconcelos is located in Boa Vista. The ground has carried the name Estádio 13 de Setembro before it adopted its current title. The original structure opened in 1975.
What defines the place now is the long pause in its life. Work began in the early 2010s as part of a push to build facilities for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but the project stalled. The renovation finally wrapped up in 2020, bringing with it a new drainage system, ramps and an elevator. The capacity settled at 4,556.
The pitch remains natural grass, a simple surface for the local clubs that share the ground. Atlético Roraima, Baré Esporte Clube and São Raimundo Esporte Clube hold their home matches here.
The highest attendance was set on the opening day, September 13, 1978, when 9,980 people watched São Raimundo lose 0–2 to Rio Branco from the neighbouring state of Acre.
