Stadium

Gernot Langes Stadion

Formerly: Alpenstadion

The ground kept the club's address after the club itself moved out. When WSG Tirol went up to the Bundesliga in 2019, the stadium in Wattens did not meet the licensing requirements of the top division, and the first team took its home fixtures to the Tivoli Stadion Tirol in Innsbruck. The club's headquarters stayed in Wattens.

That football is WSG Tirol II, in the Regionalliga West, the fourth tier.

It opened on 16 June 1959 as the Alpenstadion and stayed that way for more than half a century. The change came in 2013, when the club renamed it for Gernot Langes, its long-serving president, to mark his 70th birthday.

Its one international occasion came on 25 May 2010, when Nigeria and Saudi Arabia met here in a friendly while preparing for the World Cup. The match finished goalless, and roughly a thousand people watched it. Plans exist to raise that figure to between 6,000 and 6,500.
