Jāņa Daliņa Stadium

The ground carries the name of Jānis Daliņš: built before the war under a different name, funded by the 8th Valmiera Aizsargi regiment and the town's sports society, it only took on Daliņš's name during the Third Awakening. Little from that first build survives today — the 2021 reconstruction kept just the geometry of the main entrance and the stands, replacing everything else.

The pitch is natural grass, and the complex also houses a 100-bed hotel. The rebuild ran to 21.1 million euros, and the reopening, in August 2021, was marked not with a football fixture but an athletics meeting, the Latvian President's Prize.
