Pabellón Ángel Nieto

The Pabellón Ángel Nieto is an unassuming sports pavilion in Zamora, Castile and León, Spain.

The venue is primarily an indoor arena for basketball, handball, and futsal. Its capacity sits at 2,200 spectators, a figure that has not changed since a major renovation completed in the summer of 2009. That overhaul added more than 500 seats to meet the requirements of the National League of Futsal, replacing the previous 1,700-seat configuration.

The playing surface is natural parquet, installed during that same renovation period. Caja Rural CB Zamora, BM Zamora Enamora, and Fútbol Sala Zamora all call the venue home. The pavilion has hosted high-profile fixtures, including matches during the 2015–16 Copa del Rey de Balonmano and the Copa LEB Plata Final on January 20, 2024.

The highest recorded attendance was approximately 1,800 spectators during the LEB Plata promotion final second leg between Zamora Enamora and ODILO Cartagena in April 2024, when the venue sold out. The pavilion has also staged non-sporting events, most notably a concert by Spanish singer Pablo Alborán on April 13, 2012, as part of his "En Acústico Tour".

The building was commissioned by the Ayuntamiento de Zamora (Zamora City Council). There is conflicting information regarding the inauguration year; while the Wikipedia article for Club Balonmano Zamora states 1973, its infobox lists 1984. An interview with Arcel Andrés, vicepresident of Balonmano Zamora, refers to it as an "old" pavilion dating back to 1986. The most explicit textual claim found is 1973, but the infobox data suggests 1984.
