Skagerak Arena
The ground sits in Falkum, a residential pocket of Скьен, and it has been in use since the spring of 1923. Its old name, Одд Стадион, is still the one used by people who watched football here before the rebuild.
That rebuild ran from 2006 to 2008 and gave the place its current name, Скагерак Арена. It was not a refresh of the stands: the arena that reopened carried a different name over the gates. The reconstruction also settled the surface question — the pitch is synthetic, laid before 2010.
It remains the home of Одд, and the club and the ground share the older name between them; visiting supporters looking for Одд Стадион and visiting supporters looking for Скагерак Арена are heading to the same corner of Fridtjof Nansens gate.
The one confusion worth clearing up is geographic. There is an arena in Кристиансанн — now Спаребанкен Норге Арена, previously Сёр Арена — that gets mixed into searches for this one. They have nothing to do with each other.
