Sportanlage Rheinwiese

The **Sportanlage Rheinwiese** sits at the edge of Schaan. The main pitch is natural grass, while a synthetic auxiliary surface sits beside it, installed during the 2017–2018 upgrades. The LFV Campus, which broke ground in June 2023 and is scheduled to finish in September 2026, is a separate project.

The stadium is the home of **FC Schaan**, a club that has called this patch of land its base since 1949. The seating is entirely covered, with 1,117 spots including wheelchair spaces; there are no standing areas. When the venue’s capacity was sometimes listed as 3,000, that figure no longer applies to the seated sections.

Beyond football, the site hosts athletics. The venue has also hosted youth internationals, including a fixture between Liechtenstein U21 and Macedonia U20 in December 2025. It does not stage the **LFV Cup** finals — those remain at the **Rheinpark Stadion** in Vaduz — but it keeps the national teams close to home.

The name has stayed the same: **Sportanlage Rheinwiese**. No former titles, no builder’s name in the archives.
