Windsor Park

Windsor Park once held crowds of 55,000 — the record for a football match there — and now takes 18,434.

Work on the site began in 1903; the ground opened two years later. Almost everything a visitor sees now postdates that by a century. The rebuild had one unplanned chapter: in 2015 cracks were found in the brickwork of the West Stand, and the 3,400-seat structure was demolished and built again, paid for through an insurance settlement.

The pitch is natural grass with undersoil heating.

The name has moved twice in a decade. From 2016 the ground was The National Football Stadium at Windsor Park; since May 2025 it has carried a sponsor's title, the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park. Locally it stays Windsor Park.

Two tenants share it. Linfield play their home fixtures here, and the ground doubles as the home of the Northern Ireland national side — so a league night and an international can follow each other on the same grass within days.
