About the player
Alex Daho arrived at Sochaux as a teenager from the reserves at JA Drancy. He signed his first contract in May 2023 on the back of strong performances in National 3, and from there the number of appearances for the senior side climbed to 50 in Ligue 2 and National, with nine goals and four assists to show for it. Two of those goals came from the penalty spot, against Stade de Reims and against Lorient, both in the Coupe de France during the 2023/24 season.
The progress was interrupted in July 2024, when he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during pre-season. The injury required surgery and kept him out for six months.
Daho returned to fitness and, in August 2025, turned down a renewal offer from Sochaux. He moved instead to USL Dunkerque, signing a four-year contract in Ligue 2. A right-footer comfortable as a forward or in midfield.
