Estifan Dias

Estifen Arnaldo Díaz Atienza is a product of the Club Libertad youth academy, where he progressed through the ranks before beginning his senior career at the Asunción club in 2023. Since then his path has run largely through loan spells rather than a settled place in Libertad's own first team. That same year he joined Resistencia SC on loan, appearing 13 times and scoring once between July and December.

The following year took him to Sportivo Trinidense for the whole of 2024, where he made nine appearances in the Primera División and scored twice. He returned to Libertad for the first half of 2025 before moving on loan to General Caballero JLM, where he made 17 appearances and scored twice, including in the Supercopa. General Caballero went on to win the 2025 Copa Paraguay, and Díaz was part of the squad that season, though his specific role in the final is not clear.

He was back at Libertad for the first half of 2026, making two appearances, before joining Sportivo 2 de Mayo on loan from July. At his new club he has made two appearances in the Division Profesional so far, without a goal or an assist. Across his senior career to date, Díaz has made around 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and adding three assists, built almost entirely on loan spells away from the club that developed him. He plays as a right-footed midfielder, also used on the left wing, and wears the number 38 shirt at Libertad.
