Kevin Zenón's move away from Boca Juniors closed in September 2026, when Atlas F.C. paid $6 million to sign him, a fee split between the two clubs that shaped his career: Boca, who held 80 per cent of his rights, received $4.8 million, while Unión de Santa Fe, where he came through the academy, took the remaining $1.2 million on a 20 per cent stake. Zenón signed a four-year contract with the Mexican club.

Born in Goya, Corrientes, Zenón started out at local sides Central Goya, Huracán Goya and San Ramón Goya before joining Unión de Santa Fe's academy in 2018. He stayed with Unión until 2024, when he moved to Boca Juniors.

At Boca, Zenón reached the semi-finals of the 2024 Copa Argentina, where the club lost to Vélez Sarsfield, and went out at the same stage of the 2024 Copa de la Liga Profesional against Estudiantes. Neither campaign ended in a title.

Zenón also had a taste of international football with Argentina's under-23 side at the 2024 Paris Olympics, starting in the group-stage match against Morocco before the team's run ended with a quarter-final defeat to France.

His switch to Atlas now takes him into Liga MX, a new step after his development through Argentina's lower categories and a two-year spell in one of the country's biggest dressing rooms.
