Nicolás Leguizamón

Nicolás Leguizamón came through the academy at Colón, in his native Santa Fe, and made his professional debut there in 2016. He was with the club for several years before a loan to Defensa y Justicia in 2020 gave him the biggest medal of his career: a place in the squad that won the Copa Sudamericana that year, beating Lanús 3–0 in the final, where he came on as a substitute.

He returned to Colón in 2021 and added a second trophy, the Copa de la Liga Profesional, the same year. A move to Central Córdoba of Santiago del Estero followed for the 2022–2023 seasons, before a brief second spell back at Colón in 2024. That year he left Argentina for the first time, joining Juventud de Las Piedras in Uruguay, where he played in the Segunda División before helping push the club into the Primera División in 2025.

His next stop took him to Ecuador and Deportivo Cuenca, where he has scored six goals across the 2025 and 2026 seasons, some of them in the Copa Sudamericana. In mid-2026 he moved on again, this time to Peru's Liga 1 with Juan Pablo II College.

Leguizamón has built his career largely on free transfers and loan spells rather than fees, and has reached 30 career goals for his clubs. He has never been capped by Argentina at any level, senior or youth.
