Linare

Three league championships anchor Linare's history, all clustered close together — 1973, 1979 and 1980 — a run the club has never repeated since. A Sturrock Cup in 1959 and an Independence Cup in 1983 fill out the honours board. The closest Linare came after that was 1999, when the club reached the championship playoff and finished runner-up to LDF, taking a place in the CAF Cup Winners' Cup instead.

The club has been part of the top flight since it was founded in 1931, one of the sides that shaped the Lesotho Premier League from the start. It plays in green and white and is known to supporters as Mamalente. Hlotse Stadium, also called Molapo Sports Centre, holds around 1,000 people.

Games against Lioli FC are the Great North Derby, while meetings with the town's other sides — Mphatlalatsane, Galaxy, Joy — are simply the Leribe Derby, played out closer to home.

Linare finished second in the Premier League in 2022/23 with 63 points, their best recent showing, before back-to-back tenth-place finishes in the two seasons that followed. The 2026/27 campaign opened with a 3-1 win over LMPS on 22 August.
