EHF European League Women (EU) 2026/27

EHF European League Women

The EHF European League Women serves as the second-tier European club handball competition, organized by the European Handball Federation. The tournament was established in 2020, with the inaugural 2020–21 season replacing the former EHF Cup Women. This rebranding aligned the women's competition with the men's EHF European League. The competition sits below the EHF Champions League Women and above the EHF European Cup Women. It is not a league with promotion or relegation between tiers; qualification is based on domestic performance and EHF coefficients.

The format for the 2024–25 season involves a group stage of 8 teams playing a double round-robin (home and away). The top 4 teams advance to two-legged quarter-finals. The quarter-final winners proceed to a Final Four tournament, consisting of single-leg semi-finals and a final at a neutral venue. There is no automatic promotion from the European League to the Champions League.

Recent winners include Nantes Atlantique (2020–21), SG BBM Bietigheim (2021–22), Ikast Håndbold (2022–23), and Storhamar Håndball Elite (2023–24). In the history of the competition (including its previous name, the EHF Cup), Viborg HK, Slagelse, and ŽRK Radnički are tied for the most titles with 3 wins each.
