Eżoraków beat Wejherowo 31:27 in the First League on Saturday, closing their perfect start with a win that keeps them in fourth place. The hosts had already beaten Wybrzeże Gdańsk II in their opening fixture, while the visitors had only managed draws so far.
By then the pattern was clear enough. Wejherowo had gone into this match without a win, two draws sitting on their ledger, and Eżoraków were looking to extend their run. The final score reflected the difference in momentum between the two sides.
We had called for a home win before kick-off, 71 per cent confidence, and the result backed that up. It is not always easy to spot these things in advance, but when one side has won both games and the other has not, the odds shift naturally. That is not prediction so much as reading the table.
The visitors had shown they could hold their own in earlier results, beating Szypior尼亚k Olštyn 30:29 and holding Bydgoszcz to 33:30, but they had also lost heavily to Gniezno 37:46. Without a win to show for two matches, they needed something to change here. It did not.
Eżoraków now sit on six points from two games, two wins and nothing else. Wejherowo remain at the bottom of the table with zero points after two draws. The gap between them widens, and the visitors will need to find a way out of this before the season settles in.
