Stans lost 31-34 to Baden-Endingen in the Swiss Cup on 9 October 2026. The away side took all three points in a contest that finished with a single-goal margin. The match took place at 18:30 local time.
The home side had shown mixed results recently. They beat Geneva 2 41-40 and Gosau 2 35-14 in September and August. But they dropped points against St. Gallen and Pfadi Winterthur in December.
The visitors came in with momentum. They won their last two fixtures: 37-28 against Nyon and 35-22 versus Birsfelden. Their previous defeats came months ago, including a 29-40 loss to Pfadi Winterthur in October 2025.
Both teams had victories in their five most recent games before this cup clash. Stans won two and lost two, while Baden-Endingen claimed four wins and one defeat. The away side's consistency showed through in the final result.
This defeat leaves Stans without a cup victory in their recent run. Baden-Endingen extended their winning streak to two matches away from home. The margin suggests both sides were competitive throughout.
