A video of Maria Rumyantseva, a handball player with Russia's deaf and hard-of-hearing national team, has gone viral after she appeared on the big screens at a Basta concert in Luzhniki.
Organisers put her on screen throughout the show, signing the rapper's lyrics for deaf members of the crowd. Footage of her interpreting the song "My Game" was filmed by a fan in the stands.
"A niche Performance at the Basta concert. The sign-language girl is tearing up a stadium of thousands," the fan wrote, posting the clip online.
She has played for Grêmio Women since August 2026 and is yet to score for the club.
