Armin Haider

Left-footed and comfortable both as an attacking midfielder and on the wing, he moved through Union Vorderweißenbach, the FC Juniors OÖ youth setup and the AKA Linz academy before joining LASK Amateure OÖ for the 2022/23 season, where he made his senior competitive debut in the Regionalliga Mitte. He eventually broke into the LASK Bundesliga squad, debuting for the first team on 29 April 2024.

That breakthrough came in an unusual context. LASK won both the Austrian Championship and the Austrian Cup during the 2023/24 season, but Haider made no competitive appearances for the first team that campaign, playing instead for the reserves, where he scored five goals in the Regionalliga. He was part of the squad but, having not featured in competitive matches, did not receive medals for either title.

In June 2026 he left LASK Amateure for SKU Amstetten. On his debut, in the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup against Deutschlandsberger SC on 24 July 2026, he scored the equaliser as the match finished 1-1, though Amstetten went on to lose the tie 4-2 on penalties.

Haider has represented Austria at youth level, with caps for the U-15, U-17 and U-18 sides. His most productive spell came with the U-17s, where he scored once in seven appearances after debuting in September 2021. He has not yet featured for Austria's senior national team.
