About the player
Omar Brian Andrada made his professional debut for Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata on 11 April 2015, in a 4–1 win over Aldosivi, but his time at the club was brief — just two appearances, the last of them against Sarmiento de Junín, where he set up a goal for Walter Bou. No goals followed for the club that had raised him.
A short stint at Ferro Carril Oeste in the Torneo Federal A preceded the move that shaped his career: in August 2018 he signed for Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza, where he stayed until 2022 and built up 82 league appearances.
Between those two spells at Gimnasia, Andrada went out on loan to San Martín de Tucumán, where he had his most productive run in front of goal, scoring four times in around 52 league matches. A further loan took him to Paraguay's Sportivo Trinidense in 2024, where he added continental football to his résumé with appearances in the Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores, plus a goal in the Copa Paraguay and an assist in the Sudamericana.
Across his career he has scored seven goals in total, split between Gimnasia Mendoza, San Martín de Tucumán and Sportivo Trinidense, and set up others along the way.
