F. Gonçalves

Flávio Gonçalves was born in Mantes-la-Jolie, in France, but built his career entirely within Sporting CP, working his way up through the club's youth ranks before earning a place in the first-team squad, where he now wears the number 58 shirt. The attacking midfielder has made 17 appearances for the senior side so far.

His progress has been quickest at international level. Gonçalves has been a regular fixture for Portugal's youth teams, scoring three goals in 13 caps for the under-18s before stepping up to the under-19s, where he found the net five times in 12 appearances. He has since been called into the under-20 setup, adding a further goal in four caps there. Across the three youth categories, he has scored nine goals in 29 appearances.

Right-footed and known for operating either through the middle or from the wing, Gonçalves has not yet featured for Portugal's senior team. His path so far has been defined by a steady climb through age groups rather than a single breakthrough moment, with Sporting CP's academy as the constant thread.
