Harold Antinirre

Antiñirre's rise to Chile's top flight has come without the usual staging-post: instead of moving up gradually through the Primera B, he jumped straight from the third division to Huachipato, a step his previous club, Deportes Puerto Montt, was not able to make at the same time. He signed for Huachipato on 7 January 2026 after Deportes Puerto Montt.

The move followed a 2025 season in which Antiñirre, playing as a left midfielder, scored 11 goals and added 7 assists in 22 matches. He captained Deportes Puerto Montt to the Segunda División Profesional title that year, a result that sent the club up to the Primera B, and his form earned him the Best Player award at the "Gala Crack 2025" ceremony for the division. He had joined Deportes Puerto Montt as a professional in 2019 and spent his career there until the move to Huachipato, playing first in the Primera B and later in the Segunda División.

Away from results on the pitch, Antiñirre's home region also recognised him: the commune of Hualaihué named him an "Hijo Ilustre" (Honorary Citizen) in 2025, an honour tied to his sporting trajectory and connection to the area. He is from Hornopirén, in southern Chile, and plays with his left foot. He has not been capped by the Chilean national team at senior or youth level.
