Iván Rodrigo Ramírez Segovia

Ramírez came through Libertad's own academy and broke into the first team in 2013, but the following decade rarely kept him in Asunción for long. Loans took him to Deportivo Santaní twice, to Rubio Ñu, and across the border to Godoy Cruz and Central Córdoba in Argentina, with a spell at city rivals Guaraní sandwiched in between. Each time he returned to Libertad, and each time the club found a way to win something with him in the squad — Apertura and Clausura titles piled up through 2014, 2016, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, along with the Copa Paraguay in 2023.

In May 2024 he left Libertad for Cerro Porteño, scoring within three minutes of coming on.

The national team came earlier in less dramatic instalments. Ramírez was part of the Paraguay side that took silver at the 2013 South American U-20 Championship and went on to the U-20 World Cup that year. At U-23 level he scored against Trinidad and Tobago at the 2015 Pan American Games. His senior debut followed in 2017, and by May 2025 he had earned seven caps without a goal, including a place in Paraguay's squad for the 2024 Copa América.
