H. Ceballos

Julián Ceballos left his mark on Boca Juniors long before he made his senior debut, lifting the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 with the club's youth side in 2023, when Boca beat Independiente del Valle 2-0 in the final, and then the FIFA U-20 Intercontinental Cup that same year, edging AZ Alkmaar on penalties after a 1-1 draw. That run through the age groups came after stints in the youth ranks of Talleres de Córdoba and Atlético Carlos Paz, having started out at Deportivo San Nicolás, with trials at River Plate and Lanús along the way before Boca took him on.

His first-team bow for Boca came on as a substitute in a 2-1 Copa Argentina win over Almirante Brown, and he was later trusted with a start in a Copa Sudamericana playoff against Independiente del Valle. Regular football, though, came only once he went out on loan. At All Boys in the Primera Nacional he made 29 appearances and scored four goals, a spell that preceded his move to Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza.

At Gimnasia, on loan from Boca until the end of 2026, Ceballos has made 12 league appearances so far with one assist and two yellow cards, plus a further outing in the Copa Argentina. A left-footed midfielder.
