Matías Hernán Moya Cruces

Matías Moya's career began at River Plate, where he came through the youth academy and made his professional debut in December 2016. He was part of the squad that won the Copa Argentina in 2016 and 2017 and the Copa Libertadores in 2018, though his own playing time in those campaigns was limited. A loan to Banfield followed in 2019 before River sent him to Chile in March 2021, on loan to Ñublense. There he scored six goals in 28 matches, a run productive enough to turn into a permanent, free transfer in February 2022.

That move to Chile also reshaped his international situation: born in Centenario to a Chilean mother, Moya took Chilean citizenship in September 2022, which let him register as a local player in the country and opened the door to interest in representing Chile, though he has not made a senior appearance for the national side. On the back of his form at Ñublense, he joined Colo-Colo as a free agent in December 2022, and the years there proved the most decorated of his career: the Copa Chile in 2023, the Primera División title in 2024 and the Supercopa de Chile the same year. A loan to Deportes Iquique followed in 2025.

He arrived at 2 de Mayo on a free transfer after seven months without a club, left foot and a forward's instincts intact.
