Maximiliano Gutiérrez

Maximiliano Gutiérrez was born in Chiguayante and came through the ranks at Huachipato, where he broke into the first team in 2022 with appearances in the Copa Chile against Coquimbo Unido and, that November, in the Primera División against Palestino. Huachipato won the Primera División in 2023 and the Copa Chile in 2025 during his time at the club.

In February 2026, Gutiérrez moved to Independiente in Argentina on loan. He wore number 28 and made 15 appearances for Independiente, scoring three goals and setting up two more. The move proved short-lived: in September 2026, Independiente sold him on to Dynamo Moscow for a fee reported at around €7 million. He signed a five-year contract with the Russian club, running until the summer of 2031.

Gutiérrez earned his first senior call-up to the Chile national team and made his debut on 4 September 2025 against Brazil in qualification for the 2026 World Cup. He has since scored twice for the national side, against Peru in a friendly in October 2025 and against Cape Verde in the 2026 FIFA Series in March 2026, taking his tally to five caps by that point.
