Nicolás Romano Di Marco came through the club's own youth ranks and made his first-team debut in 2018.
Gimnasia M. brought him back permanently in September 2020, and he has worn the number 10 ever since, operating as a forward who drops into the second-striker or attacking-midfield role.
Romano was part of the squad that took Gimnasia M. up from the Torneo Federal A to the Primera Nacional in the 2017–18 season.
