Csömör

The one-goal win over Tököl VSK, 28–27 in the 2021 Fábián Ferenc memorial tournament, is the result the club's own site puts first. It was the tenth edition of the tournament, and Csömör took it.

Csömör's handball began with the local agricultural cooperative. The side that reached the top flight in 1965 was called Csömöri TSZ SK, with Süle József as coach, and the name tracked the politics of the time. By 1978 it was Szilasmenti TSZ SK, and it only became Csömör KSK when it returned to NB I for 2001–2006. A few years earlier, in 1998–99, the Australian international Taip Ramadani had played for the team.

The recent story runs in a tight sequence. In 2023–24 the men won the NB II Southeast group. Promotion put them in NB I/B, where they finished 16th in 2024–25 and went down. That same season they had reached the third round of the Hungarian Cup and lost to Fejér-B.Á.L. Veszprém. The women's side works lower down, in the Pest County leagues: second in the second division in 2023–24, then seventh in the first division in both 2024–25 and 2025–26. They play at the Csömöri Sportcsarnok, whose main hall covers 1,150 square metres.

The club has never won the Hungarian Cup, and it has not held a place in the top flight since the 2000s ended.
