Yunusemre Spor Salonu holds a thousand people, which was enough for a first Kadınlar Hentbol Süper Ligi fixture on 30 August 2026, when Manisa BB Women beat Üsküdar Belediyespor 33-31.
Handball became the 17th branch of the Manisa municipal sports club, adopting its green and white.
Whatever the section lacked in age, it made up for in its first full season. Manisa BB Women won all 14 matches of the 2025-2026 Kadınlar 1. Ligi campaign and took the title, which sent them up to the Super League without a single defeat behind them.
