Fourteen goals scored, seventy-nine let in, four wins from thirty matches — that was Mzamane FC's only season so far in the Lesotho Premier League, with the club going straight back down. They had needed just one season in the top flight, 2024–25, to find out they did not belong there yet.
The name is Sesotho for "The Elders", a nod to the senior figures of the community, though the team is simply Mzamane, in conversation and in the local press alike. It was founded in 2017.
Litšilo, the Lesotho Correctional Services side and Maroala were the three clubs Mzamane had to get past in the Northern Stream.
