Bruins centre Fraser Minten, 22, signed a seven-year, $7.2M-per-year extension, effective in 2027, after a strong first season with Boston last year.
Fraser Minten has agreed a seven-year contract extension with the Boston Bruins worth $7.2 million a year.
The new deal takes effect in 12 months. For the coming 2026/27 season the Canadian centre still plays out his entry-level contract, worth $879,000.
Minten, 22, put up 35 points (17 goals, 18 assists) in 82 games last season, with a plus-22 rating and average ice time of 15:33. Boston acquired him from Toronto in a trade in February 2025.
Bruins general manager Don Sweeney explained the club's thinking behind the extension.

His hockey sense, competitiveness, responsible two-way play and progress as a scorer make him a valuable player for our team.
