Former NHL and KHL forward Jean-Sébastien Dea has ended his career after winning the German title with Eisbären Berlin last season.
Jean-Sébastien Dea has retired at the age of 32, according to TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie.
The Canadian Forward played his last season with Eisbären Berlin, joining the German side after his contract with Neftekhimik was terminated. The move paid off: Dea won the German championship, picking up 5 points (1+4) in 15 games during the title run in the play-offs.
His NHL career amounted to 37 games across four clubs — Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Buffalo and Arizona — for 7 points (5+2). In the KHL he was a regular scorer, putting up 51 points (27+24) in 120 regular-season games for Metallurg and Neftekhimik. His biggest body of work came in the AHL, where he played 517 regular-season games and scored 341 points (153+188).
