Kevin Fiala Has Second Surgery on Injured Left Leg
The Kings forward underwent another procedure on the leg fracture from the 2026 Winter Olympics and will miss the start of training camp indefinitely.
The club confirmed the 30-year-old Swiss Forward underwent the procedure to address the same fracture he suffered at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, after a collision with Canada forward Tom Wilson. The new surgery follows the first operation, carried out in February.
Fiala managed 40 points (18 goals, 22 assists) in 56 NHL games last season, with a minus-11 rating. He has three years left on his contract, with a cap hit of $7.875m.
