Rust and Bros sidelined for Penguins training
Pittsburgh forwards Bryan Rust and Tristan Bros missed practice for medical evaluations of upper- and lower-body injuries ahead of the season opener.
Bryan Rust and Tristan Jarry will sit out Pittsburgh's training session, both undergoing medical evaluations after picking up injuries.
"Forward Bryan Rust is being evaluated for an upper-body injury, and forward Tristan Jarry is being evaluated for a lower-body injury. The players will not practise today," the Penguins said in a statement.
Pittsburgh open their season on 1 October against Philadelphia.
