Severstal coach Andrei Kozyrev admitted his team lost in every aspect after an 8-0 defeat to Spartak, but praised first-period chances created.
Severstal head coach Andrei Kozyrev did not look for excuses after his side shipped eight goals without reply away to Spartak in the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The match came early in the season, and Kozyrev pointed to Severstal's next fixture, two days later, as the immediate way to respond. Severstal were without Lishka and Abrosimov for the trip, both still sidelined and not close to a return by the coach's own account, though he called the absences an opportunity.
